About the Nordic Camping Council – Nordiska Caravan Rådet
The purpose of the Nordic Camping Council (NCR) is to strengthen Nordic camping cooperation and influence the development of camping life to the delight of campers in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark.
NCR was formed on 10 January 1971 by member organizations Caravan Club of Sweden (CC), Dansk Caravan Klub (DCK) opted out in 2010, SF-Caravan (SF-C) and Norsk Bobil and Caravan Club (NBCC). The Danish Camping Union joined in 1990.
The purpose of the Nordic Camping Council is also to create greater cultural understanding between the member countries through arrangements, events and the exchange of good discount agreements.
Every year, the Nordic Camping Council organizes a week-long get-together in July, Nordic Camping Treff, in one of the four Nordic countries according to a plan where the event takes turns between the four countries.

Nordic Camping Meeting 2027
It is with great pleasure that we invite our Nordic camping friends to Mjøsparken in Brumunddal, where Nordic Camping Treff 2027 will be held on 12–17 July 2027.
Mjøsparken is beautifully situated by idyllic Mjøsa, which is Norway's largest lake, and has a relatively short distance to both Hamar, Gjøvik and Lillehammer.
In Mjøsparken, you will find activities and experiences for all age groups: basketball courts, a large skate facility, a playground with a zip-line and a beautiful sandy beach that just has to be experienced. In addition, the park contains a petanque court and a beautiful sensory garden. Or maybe you want to stroll along Mjøspromenaden, or hop on board Skibladner? In Mjøsparken, you will also find a restaurant that offers tasty lunch and dinner dishes. In the evenings, there will be live music and the opportunity for a dance.
Parken ligger rett ved Wood Hotel og Mjøstårnet – et av verdens høyeste trebygg. Hvis du ønsker hotellovernatting, kan du bestille rom på Wood Hotel.
Here we will put in place all the facilities that make a stay perfect. The pitches are flat and nice, most on grass and some on gravel. All the pitches are good. From here it is also a short distance to shopping.
